Nick Young voiced his opinion of Drew League’s MVP selection via Twitter today:
“So 60 can’t get me MVP in the @drewleague30,40,41,43,45,30,60,35 each game I played”
For the record, Long Beach State guard Casper Ware Jr. took the MVP. Ware led his team into the second round of the playoffs. Young led his team… to a .500 record. So no, Nick. 60 in ONE game does not an MVP make. And I’m leery of a player who’s memorized his own scoring stats for each of the past 10 games. Something tells me you weren’t dropping many dimes. I don’t know, I don’t have the stats.
