ESPN has ranked the top 500 NBA players, we all know this. Jimmer Fredette has come in at 272. James Ham of Cowbell Kingdom has taken offense. Apparently he’s been beer bonging the Jimmer kool aid, just like so many others.
Quick Analysis: You can consider Sacramento and Utah joined at the hip at this point. They both froth at the mouth to see their great white hope knock one down from half court in the NBA, even though anyone with an objective thought in their head knows this kid was drafted as a financial move more than any other–and a genius one at that. The worst thing to come of this lockout will be the prolonged masking of Jimmer’s inability to be a star at the NBA level. A Jimmer fan should be happy he doesn’t have to take the court any time soon, and be exposed for what he really is: a collegiate ball stopper, IE: if I jack up enough half court shots I just might make a few too.
I’ve made this comparison before: Jimmer Fredette is Eddie House. You figure out the rest.
