It came to me in a dream. No, maybe I knew it all along: the real reason Deron Williams wanted out of Utah. Notice the Le-high headband Deron sports as a Net, and then observe the picture below.
It would seem the onetime best point guard in the league is losing more than just games and his credibility, he’s been loosing his wig as well. And why not then, do everything you can to leave Utah? For years Lebron James has been losing his do, but keeps it under wraps with his ever-elevating headband. Deron didn’t have that luxury in Utah, as the team ownership is as conservative as the fashionably late-coming fans that for the most part observe games like they’re at a viewing, staring down at a corpse–although coincidentally, and to be fair, the Jazz do resemble something similar to a decomposing slab of brain matter and muscle tissue this season. It’s no coincidence then–pun–that Mr. Williams was sporting the headband high and tight in his first game as a Net. If the Jazz don’t start loosening up on their Amish rules, they’re going to lose every balding lottery pick they ever score. As for Deron, he appears to be struggling on multiple fronts these days, and on each one the future looks considerably less lush.
