When you spend as much time in front of a microphone as Lebron James does, you’re bound to say something completely off the reservation. Lebron delivered us this gem as he recently spoke about Jeremy Lin:
“Then he gets the start against New Jersey and the rest is history. You always want someone to succeed when his back is against the wall. Now his chest is against the wall and he’s seeing everything coming at him from every angle.”
Chest against the wall… 360 degree vision……… Something isn’t adding up here, Lebron. According to my calculations, when your chest is against the wall, aside from your peripheries and the wall itself, the exact number of angles at which you see things equates to 0, making “back against the wall” a far better vantage point. But we’ll stop there for today. It’s been a tough week for Lebron, as I would think Charles Barkley and the crew have probably gotten in his head a little bit.
Although maybe the wall is made of glass. I hadn’t thought about that before I made this post. A retraction may be in order.
